Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, vehemently refuted statements made by Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, in the Lok Sabha over the compensation given to Ayodhya’s traders. The UP Chief Minister described Gandhi’s remarks as a “lie” and an intentional attempt to disseminate false information, while outlining the compensation given to traders and people who were forced to relocate as a result of different Ayodhya development projects.
Compensation Clarification
CM Yogi Adityanath confirmed that traders displaced by Ayodhya development projects have received compensation of Rs 1,733 crore. He called Rahul Gandhi’s false claims extremely repugnant and humiliating, accusing him of trying to discredit Uttar Pradesh and Ayodhya. To correct the record, the Chief Minister spoke to the media on Monday night at his official house.
“During the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi spread erroneous information and false narratives, as all of us have seen. By disseminating false information about the Constitution, the opposition leaders attempted to subvert it and sway the elections through the use of foreign funding. They tricked Indian moms and sisters by forcing them to sign fictitious bonds totaling one lakh rupees. The UP CM stated, “Once more, he has made a fraudulent assertion, which is abhorrent and disgusting.
Yogi Adityanath’s Rebuttal
Everyone knew who had stripped Ayodhya of its identity, claimed the UP Chief Minister. “In addition to ignoring Ayodhya, Rahul Gandhi and his associates also tainted the Saryu River with blood. Congress is becoming agitated now because Ayodhya is becoming more well-known worldwide due to its restored glory,” he said.
CM Yogi highlighted that compensation of Rs 1,733 crore had been given to the displaced residents of Ayodhya, branding the Congress as a web of falsehoods. “Those who gave up their land, businesses, or homes were reimbursed, whether it was for Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ram Path, Bhakti Path, or Janmabhoomi Path. For those who had space in the back, we built shops; for those who didn’t, we set aside new, multi-level shops.
Defaming Ayodhya and UP
“The claim made by Rahul Gandhi is untrue and a part of a plot to malign Uttar Pradesh and Ayodhya. CM Yogi Adityanath continued, “This reflects a mentality aimed at tarnishing the image of India and Ayodhya.” In response to Gandhi’s allegations, the Chief Minister published an extensive list of the compensation awarded to Ayodhya businessmen under several development projects.

With his thorough refutation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seeks to refute Rahul Gandhi’s false claims about the compensation given to Ayodhya traders. Reiterating the state government’s commitment to the development and restoration of Ayodhya, the UP CM highlights the enormous financial support provided to the displaced residents.
