With a strong academic record, Bolla aspired to join India’s prestigious engineering colleges, only to face rejection from coaching institutes due to his disability. Undeterred, he turned his sights abroad and secured admission to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States, where he became the first international blind student to receive full financial aid.

Following his graduation from MIT, Bolla returned to India with a vision to make a difference. In 2012, he founded Bollant Industries, an organization focused on manufacturing eco-friendly consumer packaging solutions. Despite initial challenges, Bolla’s company flourished, attracting investment from renowned figures like Ratan Tata.
