Dry weather prevails across Karnataka, with several regions experiencing appreciably above normal temperatures. Heatwave-like conditions are anticipated in various cities across the state, including Bidar, Gulbarga, Bijapur, Yadgir, Raichur, and more. Hot and humid weather is expected to persist in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttar Kannada districts, with temperatures rising by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 4-5 days.

April 28 marked the second-hottest day in Bengaluru’s history, surpassing previous temperature records dating back five decades. With temperatures expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days, residents brace themselves for intensified heatwave conditions.
