The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has introduced three new exam centre cities abroad for the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024. Candidates registering for the JEE Advanced 2024 now have the option to select exam centres in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu, in addition to centres in India. This move aims to provide greater flexibility and accessibility to candidates appearing for the prestigious examination.

Opportunity for Correction in Centre and Country Choice

Candidates who have already chosen exam centres within India and have paid the registration fee without selecting the option for foreign centres will have the opportunity to make corrections to their centre and country choices. This allows candidates to align their preferences with the newly added overseas exam centres, if desired. It’s important to note that the registration fee varies for exam centres in India and abroad.

The registration window for JEE Advanced 2024 remains open until May 7, providing candidates with ample time to complete the registration process and make necessary amendments to their choices. Detailed information regarding the application process, syllabus, and exam pattern is available on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

The JEE Advanced 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on May 26, comprising of two papers: paper 1 and paper 2.
