On the auspicious occasion of the Ram temple inauguration, the Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) has inked a deal for its third hotel in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, signaling the city’s transformation into a global pilgrimage destination. The brownfield project, sprawled across 1.3 acres, will house 150 keys and will be branded as an IHCL SeleQtions hotel.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, expressed enthusiasm about Ayodhya’s remarkable evolution and its potential to attract tourists globally. The inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir has added to Ayodhya’s allure, and Chhatwal sees it as a magnet for visitors from around the world.
Strategic Collaboration with KM Vyapar
IHCL’s collaboration with KM Vyapar for the SeleQtions hotel demonstrates a strategic move to offer diverse hospitality experiences in Ayodhya. Chhatwal highlighted the significance of providing three distinct brands in Ayodhya, totaling approximately 400 rooms across SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands.
