Brij Hotels, a hospitality firm, announced on Tuesday that it has successfully raised $4 million in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by the Manipal Education & Medical Group (MEMG) Family Office, with participation from angel investors including Abhay Jain, Abhiroop Jayanthi from Bain Capital, Rajendra Rao, and Prashant Deshpande.

The startup, founded by Udit Kumar and Anant Kumar, plans to utilize the funds to expand its presence across various geographies. Operating on an asset-lite model, Brij Hotels focuses on revenue-sharing agreements and management contracts with property owners. With a portfolio of eight operational hotels, the company emphasizes sustainability through its zero-kilometer concept, aiming to minimize carbon footprints and environmental impact.

Sprih Raises $3 Million in Seed Funding

Sprih, a climate-focused software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup, has secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm Leo Capital. The funding round also saw participation from undisclosed angel investors. Founded in 2022 by Akash Keshav, Ravi Singhal, Rohit Toshniwal, and Hemant Joshi, Sprih offers a platform to assist companies in developing data-driven sustainability strategies. The startup plans to use the funding to expand its presence in the USA, Europe, and other global markets, as well as to grow its team.

Vobble Raises $1 Million in Seed Funding

Vobble, an audio content platform focused on children, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by gaming-focused venture capital firm Lumikai. The funding round also included participation from Blume Founders Fund and undisclosed angel investors. Founded in 2023 by Neha Sharma and Sowmya Jagannath, Vobble aims to expand its user base and improve its product-market fit. The startup plans to utilize the funding for product development and to enhance its AI capabilities.

Relso Secures Funding

In addition to Brij Hotels, Sprih, and Vobble, business-to-business (B2B) manufacturing startup Relso also announced securing early-stage funding. However, details about the amount raised and investors involved were not disclosed.
