In a surprising turn of events, President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he will not be running for re-election in the 2024 U.S. Presidential race. Instead, he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee. This announcement has sparked significant reactions, particularly from Indian-American businessman and politician Vivek Ramaswamy, who had predicted this outcome eight months ago.

Ramaswamy Prediction

Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old Republican, shared his foresight in a social media post, including a video interview from November with Fox News. “Best way to predict the future: just follow the incentives. It’s shocking how precisely right you can be, right down to the exact timing,” Ramaswamy stated. His prediction was remarkably accurate, as Biden’s decision aligns perfectly with his earlier forecast.

In response to Ramaswamy’s post, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X (formerly Twitter), commented, “Yeah, all his predictions have come true.” Ramaswamy replied, “Wish it weren’t so,” highlighting his dismay despite the accuracy of his prediction.

During his Fox News interview, Ramaswamy explained his reasoning: “The reality is the managerial class around Biden has lost their use for him. This has been obvious to me since last year to play out the incentives.

He is not the strongest candidate they can put up. And these people, they have stopped at nothing to keep Donald J Trump out of office.” His analysis pointed to Kamala Harris and Michelle Obama as potential Democratic candidates, with Harris ultimately being chosen.
