The truck used in the smuggling operation was also taken by the police after it was discovered parked in a rural area of Kadathippadi.

Details of the Operation

The police claimed that the people who had been apprehended had carefully thought out the smuggling strategy. The truck was driven by Marvan, and co-owned by Majid, Althaf, and Sharif Shan. On the evening of July 24, Ameen, a college student, recorded the group moving sand from Fulligradam to Mriyyamthuni. He then uploaded the footage to Instagram in the hopes that it would go unnoticed.

Ameen, a college student, recorded the group moving sand from Fulligradam to Mriyyamthuni on July 24. He then uploaded the footage to Instagram in the hopes that it wouldn’t draw notice.
