Application Dates Revealed

The Bihar School Examination Board Patna (BSEB) has unveiled the application dates for the scrutiny of Class 10 results and compartment exams. These opportunities cater to students dissatisfied with their recently declared Bihar board 10th results and those placed in the compartment category, respectively.

Scrutiny and Compartment Exams

The scrutiny process allows candidates to request a reevaluation of their answer sheets in pursuit of improved marks. On the other hand, the compartment exams are designed for students who did not meet the passing criteria in certain subjects.

Important Dates to Remember

The application links for both scrutiny and compartment exams will be active from April 3 to April 9. Following this, the BSEB will announce the results of compartment exams by May 31. Specific dates for the compartment exams will be communicated by the board at a later time.

Improved Pass Percentage

This year’s Bihar board Class 10th results have shown a commendable improvement, with an overall pass percentage of 82.91%. This marks a significant increase of 1.87 percentage points compared to the previous year’s 81.04%. It is imperative to note that students must secure a minimum of 30% to pass the Class 10 matric exam.

To apply for scrutiny, students are required to follow a simple process outlined by the Bihar board. This includes visiting the official website, providing necessary details such as roll code, roll number, and registration number, and selecting the subjects for scrutiny. Additionally, students must make the requisite fee payment via online channels.

Payment Details

Students opting for the scrutiny process are obliged to pay a fee per paper subjected to reevaluation. This fee can be conveniently settled using credit card, debit card, or net banking facilities.

The Bihar board’s Class 10 results for the current academic year reflect significant accomplishments. A total of 4,52,302 students have secured first division, while 5,24,965 students have attained second division, and 3,80,732 students have obtained third division.
